Aimi Yoshikawa
Aimi Yoshikawa is a Japanese actress and model from Kanagawa. Her early career combined adult-industry work with a comedy-film appearance, the live-action Ikenai! Luna-sensei series and television variety appearances.

Aimi Yoshikawa
The person behind the name
Aimi Yoshikawa’s public career in the early 2010s moved between modelling, adult film and comedy. Born in Kanagawa in 1994, she appeared in the 2013 God Tongue film before taking the role of Hazuki Luna in one part of a six-film manga adaptation.
Her interviews from that period show a performer learning to work with scripted dialogue and other actors. Her own blog adds a more informal voice: she wrote about live television, meeting audiences and the pleasure of becoming comfortable enough to enjoy a variety-show recording.
Learning to play Hazuki LunaA Kanagawa beginning
Yoshikawa’s own public profile gives her birthplace as Kanagawa and her birthday as 20 March 1994. She worked under the name 吉川あいみ, read Yoshikawa Aimi in Japanese name order.
Her early professional appearances crossed several formats rather than belonging to one screen series. Modelling and adult-industry work sat alongside a theatrical comedy and later a scripted manga adaptation.
A place in the God Tongue film
Yoshikawa appeared in Goddotan: Kiss Gaman Senshuken The Movie, released in Japan in June 2013. The film took a recurring challenge from the late-night variety programme God Tongue and expanded it into a feature starring Gekidan Hitori.
Its premise grew from an hour-long television challenge into a much larger comic adventure. Yoshikawa appeared among an ensemble that also included Akari Hoshino, Tsukasa Aoi, Mana Sakura and Mihiro. The credit placed her within a film built around an established television comedy format.
One character, six interpretations
The live-action Ikenai! Luna-sensei project adapted Junko Uemura’s manga through six separate stories. Different actresses played Hazuki Luna across the collection, while Taiga Fukasawa portrayed Wataru. Yoshikawa starred in the Ai LOVE Movies!! instalment.
The six films were released together in March 2014. Her part gave her a sustained character to prepare, with dialogue and interactions that required a different approach from simply appearing as herself.
Meeting the audience at Roppongi
At a screening in March 2014, Yoshikawa joined fellow cast members at Cinemart Roppongi. Ren Otsuka, Iori Kogawa, Meguri and Taiga Fukasawa also took part in the stage greeting.
She spoke modestly about her acting and said she hoped to improve gradually. The event brought the different interpretations of Luna together in front of an audience, with the performers sharing memories of their separate shoots.
Finding enjoyment in live television
In an October 2014 blog post, Yoshikawa described appearing on BS SkyPerfect’s Midnight Zap. She recalled being very nervous at first, then relaxing as the recording went on.
She enjoyed the experience enough to say that she wanted more variety-show invitations. Familiar colleagues helped: she mentioned writer Akemin, comedy duo 2700 and host Imayasu of Skip Cows in her account of the programme.
Small details beyond the credits
Walking appears as a hobby in Yoshikawa’s public profile, while kendama is listed as a skill. These details offer a quieter counterpoint to the film sets and television studios in her early career.
A 2017 interview still described her as active across different production companies. It also repeated her Kanagawa background and those personal interests, linking the later interview to the profile she had used on her earlier blog.
